이승은 (Seung-Eun Lee)

I am a second-year doctoral student in the Y-SED Lab at Yonsei University. My research interests lie in understanding the development of pro- and anti-social behaviors and moral behaviors in early years, and how these behaviors grow and change through life. More specifically, I am interested in the emotional(e.g., sympathy, shame, guilt), cognitive(e.g., theory of mind, moral judgment) and contextual(e.g., parent-child relationship, peer relationships) influences on the developmental processes.

김연우 (Youn Woo Kim)

I majored in pharmaceutical science and worked at a pharmaceutical company.I think it is very important to know their childhood when getting to know someone. Because I think a lot of things are determined emotionally in childhood. I am eager to know where people come from and what kind of childhood they have been through. I hope to study how to intervene in childhood to increase pro-social members in the Department of Child and Family Studies.

Hello, I am a master's student in Child and Family Studies at Yonsei University.

My research interest lies in children’s emotional resilience. I believe that what matters most is not the events themselves, but the emotions they evoke, because these emotions shape how each of us makes sense of the world. I am particularly interested in children’s emotional competence, emotion regulation, temperament, and parents’ emotional characteristics. Ultimately, my goal is to help children face life’s experiences without being overwhelmed, fostering their ability to understand and recover from their emotions.

이예원 (Yewon Lee)

I majored in Childhood Studies. While studying at university, I developed an interest in emotional regulation and social development in children. I believe that a healthy understanding of emotions and emotional regulation during childhood has a lasting impact on mental well-being into adulthood. Therefore, I wish to help children understand their emotions, learn how to regulate them, and, through this knowledge, support them in living healthily as members of society.

I am double majoring in Biological Science and Technology and Child & Family Studies at Yonsei University. Guided by the belief that early experiences shape who we become, I want to study how emotions in parent, peer, and teacher relationships relate to children’s social adjustment, well-being, and resilience. I hope to help children understand and manage their emotions so they can grow into adults who love themselves.
